This month, Guwahati will play host to some of the best in contemporary Indian hip-hop, including rapper, singer, and songwriter Borkung Hrangkhawl.
Borkung began his journey with the erstwhile Delhi-based hip-hop group DropSquad almost a decade ago. He released his debut album \\\”The Journey\\\” in 2013 and has since established himself as one of the finest hip-hop artists in the country.

A socially conscious and politically vocal rapper, his music tackles real issues like drug abuse, racism, and discrimination plaguing his home state, Tripura.
